Terms of service

The service

Aback Inspect runs automated browser tests that you define against websites you choose, and stores the results. It is provided by Aback Group. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Acceptable use

• Only test websites you own or have explicit permission to test, and follow their terms and applicable law.
• Do not use the service to attack, overload, scrape at scale, or probe the security of systems you are not authorised to test.
• Do not attempt to bypass CAPTCHAs, paywalls, authentication or bot protection, or to reach internal networks.
• Do not store other people's credentials or personal data in tests without the right to do so.
• Tests can change data, send messages and make purchases on the target site. You are responsible for what your tests do. Use staging environments and test accounts.

We may suspend workspaces that break these rules or put the service or other customers at risk.

Plans and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. Plan limits are listed on the pricing page.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. If you cancel at the end of the billing period, paid features continue until then; if you cancel immediately, the workspace moves to the Free plan straight away. We do not delete your tests when you downgrade.
• Runs that fail because of a problem on our side are not counted towards your monthly runs.
• Refund requests are handled case by case; write to us.

Availability and results

We work to keep the service available and the results accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and there is no uptime SLA. Test results reflect what a Chromium browser observed at the time of the run; they are not a guarantee that a site works for every user, browser or device. Accessibility checks are basic automated rules and do not certify conformance with any standard.

Your content

Your tests and results are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service. We do not use them to train AI models.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
